There was an total eclipse coming to the midwest.
We had talked about going to see it, then I realized that it went near St. Louis, so I realized it was a chance to take Timmy to City Museum, which is amazeballs.
Then since we had to rent a car we decided to make a big road trip and went to Geneva, then up to Madison, and then to Alexandria, to see family, but also because Uncle Gerry had bought an excavator, and how can we not go play with that?
