Sometime in 2004, probably in August, I found out about filming
for a movie called
"It's All In A Night's Work"
(not the famous Dean Martin film).
I danced in it with the amazing Stacie Campbell, and assumed, like many other projects that we were filmed for, it would never see the light of day. Evidently it was produced into a movie, in 2007, and somehow I found out that it'd been made, but for years couldn't find a copy of it, until it was finally released on Amazon Prime. Here are the dancing clips from the movie. It was clearly extremely low budget. And the film essentially follows a bunch of guy bartenders who basically get drunk and hit on women and think it's hysterical. Also, they are super obnoxious towards Swing Dancers.
Example:
I can imagine that bartenders probably didn't really like swing dancers, but that's the best they could do? And this is a movie? Watch the clip for some of the impressive acting.
So, probably not worth renting.
