The next 9 photos "Summer 1942" This photo "Chomik & Beauty last picture of our Chomik - " On back "April 25, 1942 New York" Stamped "463E" From later photos I believe this is in garden of Niusia and Jim's. I also think Beauty was the Akston's dog. Note George's idea of summer apparently includes April....

"Visiting from Washinton garden on 77th St. Bridge" On back "May 31, 1942" "668E" stamped on back. Note many similarities between this photo and previous (George's clothes, open door) Yet some differences (window shade position , mop in first photo) seem to say they are two different days. My guess is that it is George and Shirley who are visiting from Washington and that Jim and Niusia lived at 77th St.
