"Don and beard for Carleton Midwinter Festival Spring 1964" Note the black dot on the tshirt. The tshirts were provided by the Carleton Athletic Dept. You were supposed to just wear them when you were involved in sports (wrestling in my case) The spots were deliberately put on by the athletic department to discourage athletes from stealling them for regular use. However, the dots became sort of a status symbol and you would see them all over campus! March 1964 |
