Mom wrote on back "Model of Viking ship in Leif Ericsson Park Duluth September 1948" "79" They stayed in Duluth with Howard and Agnes from Thur 23 and drove home Sunday Sept 26. The log indicates that Sat Sept 25 they drove to Two Harbors. It would have been easy to stop at Leif Erikson Park on the North side of Duluth on the way up North. So guess Sept 25 in the morning (Note long morning shadows) This ship was made in 1926 and 3 "Vikings" sailed it from Norway to Duluth. It fell into disrepair and supposedly has been preserved and is once again in the park, but Google Earth doesn' seem to show it.
