Mom wrote on back "September, 1948 Grandpa and the kids" Dad labeled as "Plugged storm sewer" "11" Order left to right is Don, Grandpa, Ken, Mikki. Grandpa is trying to unplug drain with stick. This is our corner of 11th (which was just gravel) and Hawthorne (paved I think) The "11" roll indicates that it was first half of Sept, 1948 unless "11" roll is just reprints. Note their is a loose "960" and Mom wrote "Summer 1948 Grandpa & the Ljungsters explore Curb Lake at 1103 Hawthorne. In album ZL9 there is a reprint of this photo (has roll "960" which is a singleton). I have discarded that copy. Looking at size of Mikki I go with late summer or September 1948.
