Mom wrote on back "Aug. 25, 1946" "15" Dad in his army uniform. Despite what Mom wrote, I think this is July or even Memorial Day. He wore that uniform in Memorial Day Parades until he died. Don still has the uniform. Also the "15" on back seems to say it is not July when "3"'s started. Assume Thursday May 30, 1946 (Then called Decoration Day) |
