Mom wrote "August 1, 1943" She also labeled "Donnie". On a reprint "007" Mom wrote "August 1, 1943" On a duplicate photo Mom wrote "August, 1943 Donovan Allen 3 weeks old" Assume the August 1 is correct and so Irene and Don at two weeks old. Mom is back in Alexandria around Don's birth. This may be first photo of Don Same day I visited Great Grandma Olson Note: From my Baby book on page 36 it appears that Irene and Don stayed in Alexandria from about May 1943 to January 1944. We then took a train to Tappan stopping in Chicago to see Weinthalers.
