Playing with jack knives at school! The student on left is at the start of his turn. He will flip knife into the air, and his points depend on how it sticks. The student on far right had a good turn and he gets the points for the big blade sticking. I played it on grass, but Google "pocket knife games" and you can find a version played on wood porches and scoring like a baseball game. Assume 1938.
