Dad wrote on envelope photo and negative were in "Gust Erickson Farm 1915 or so" Gust is married to Christine Severson a sister of Mary Severson. This scan is from the negative. I believe scan of photo is better. Turns out Dad printed photo himself so it probably dates from 1975 or so.

This is a post card photo. Dad wrote on back "E O Erickson Mrs E O Erickson from Lima Ethel Lillian - Left Lived in Fahlun Church Area" There is a Lillian Erickson in our family tree. She was born in 1914 and her parents are Erick Erickson and Ida Hanson. Ida is remotely related to A C Hanson. Not clear why that family would be in an album of Erick's. Also Allen says they come from Lima (Sweden) and Hansen family is from Denmark. Thus my guess is this family is not that family and they are not related to us. Looks like about 1915.

US postcard photo. Dad wrote on back "Newman?" No Newman as first or last name in our family tree, so I have no idea. From Erick's album. Guess 1915

This is a photo postcard. Dad labeled "J.C. Penny Approx 1940 - 1979 Alex Glass & Paint 1979 - " To date photo note the "Cole Bros." sign on building to left. The Cole Bros Circus existed late 1800's into 2000's. It appears to be an old sign for the circus in Alexandria Thursday July 15. July 15 was a Thursday in 1909, 1915, 1920, and 1926. Also note there is a sign on right of building corner saying The Alexandria Citizen is Downstairs. The Alexandria Citizen was a News[aper fro 1897 to 1920 (called Alexandria Citizen News 1920 to 1941) I could not find any info on "H Bartlett sign artist" From A.C. Family history I guessed 1915 . So putting this all together I think this is Dec 1915.
