On the back Ida has written 1 Ida Sherlin 2 Aurora Herbert (Mrs Gordon Melby) 3 Anna Peterson (Mrs CharlieThunberg) 4, 5, 6 Erick Hanson girls 7 Ed Hanson brother of (arrow pointing to 4,5,6) 8 Albert Olson (Courthouse) 9 Erick Hanson girl. Allen later added that 7 was either Paul Hanson or Ed Hanson brother of C. Fred Hanson. Don's guess is about 1913. This photo is on a page titled by Allen as "Friends of Ida or Albin Ljung.

See ZL7 032 for back. Someone wrote on back "John Boden Nygarden Stratjara" Stratjara probably where John lived. Erick has a brother Lars Boden. Lars had a son John who died at the age of 19 in 1913. Assume 1913.

Ida wrote on back of post card photo "Annie Strandberg Severson" The Strandberg is crossed out. (Annie's sister Lena married a Strandberg) Then Mom added "and Mrs. Downs" Annie is on the left and is the sister of Mary Severson and hence is Albin's aunt. Mrs Downs is not in family tree. Annie born in 1873 so assume 1913 when she is 40.

Alice on back writes "Ortonville Mathilda Olson" Dad labeled "Marie and Emma Olson Millinery Shop" I suspect that Alice is correct, that this is Mathilda Olson (again Not the Mathilda Olson Hanson that is Alice's mother) Alice would not have bothered to write down Emma Olson as Emma was her stepmom. At any rate Mathilda and Marie are sisters only 3 years apart. Emma is older than both her other sisters and so I believe it is Mathilda on the left and Emma on the right. Also compare with faces on 1910 wedding. Looks closer to when Emma married in 1915. Assume 1913.

Someone wrote on back "Thilda Olson" I believe this is Mathilda Olson Hanson (A.C.'s first wife) and her oldest daughter, Alice. Alice was born in 1903 so this is about 1913. The photographer is O. Steihaug Kenyon , Minn and the Minn directory of photographers has "Steihaug, O.
