1908-1
( comments) Dad labeled "Left Back Ida Sherlin" No other info . I believe the house in back is Sherlin house on 10th. See recent photos of the house also in 1908. Census information puts family in F street house (the 10th st house) as of 1905 and 1910. It is same house as in ZL99 244 also in 1908. Photo also shiny and metalic I guess Ida is about 18 so 1908.
1908-2
( comments) Dad wrote on back "Ida & George Sherlin" House in back is Sherlin house. Compare to recent photos of Sherlin house also in 1908. Also it is same house as in ZL4 11 also in 1908. Also Ida has same coat on as in ZL4 011. Also this photo and ZL99 315 probably taken same day. Guess 1908.
1908-3
( comments) Ida wrote on back "Ida & George Sherlin" Later Dad wrote "Porch of the Shelin home 10th and Fillmore" Dad meant Sherlin home (he made that same mixup on other photos) This photo and ZL99 244 probably same day. Guess about 1908
1908-4
( comments) Dad and I drove around Alexandria July 5, 2010 to photograph places with family history. This is the location of Herman Sherlin's sled factory (a red barn with entrance in alley) He owned 1/4 of block starting at SE corner of 10th and Fillmore. This is Fillmore looking north towards 10th Put in 1908.
1908-5
( comments) Herman Sherlin's actual house (where Ida grew up) at 118 W 10th Put in 1908

1908-11
( comments) Dad labeled "Albin Larson built and lived in "Stang" house on Le Home Dieu" He is not in family tree so is probably just a friend of Albin's. See also back of this photo in next scan. June 1908 from postmark.
1908-12
( comments) Back of Albin Larson photo. Addressed to Albin in Alexandria. June 1, 1908 postmark.
1908-13
( comments) Ida wrote on back "Emma Hanson (?)" Allen also has "Emma Olson - Hanson ?" Don thinks she looks like Irene and hence could be her mother. Compare hair to photo ZLTwo 056.jpg and to photo Album2 023.jpg Looks a little older than 1907 photo so put in 1908
1908-14
( comments) Mom or Alice wrote on back of this post card (see other photo) "August, Agnes, Mother Olson, Emma, Clara" Dad labeled it "Left to right 1 August Olson 2 Agnes Olson 3 Mother Olson, Britta, Mrs Per (inside screen) 4 Emma Olson Hanson 5 6 Clara Olson Jants At Woodlawn Farm" (Woodlawn Farm is Per Farm) (Note numbers Dad put on photo - although his numbering appears to be 1,2,3,4,_,5 with an arrow from 5 pointing up to the girl with a stripped skirt) Agnes and August got married Nov 24, 1915. If we compare with the June 30, 1910 Olaf wedding photo this photo appears to be earlier. Assume 1908. That makes Clara 9 which looks about correct. Are there other siblings of Emma in this photo? My best guesses are: Between Emma and Clara could be Lydia. The older man next to Clara does not look like Per, but it could be him without a beard. Just below the man could be Hilda Evelina. The woman to the right of the man could be Hannah Marie (or Mathilda?) The male on far right looks a little like John (although a little young - he was born in 1883 and is three years older than August.) The young girl on chair with Agnes and the young boy (2nd from right) are certainly not siblings of Emma. Maybe siblings of Agnes? 1908. 1200 dpi no Dust removal or ICE (standard scan)
1908-15
( comments) Back of ZLTwo 051 Guess 1908
1908-16
( comments) I did a scanning test. 4 different scans of this photo. 1200 dpi without dust removal or ICE apprear as good as any. This photo is with Dust Removal 1200dpi 1908
1908-17
( comments) ICE 1200 dpi I think ICE is bad and makes shingles blotchy for example. 1908
1908-18
( comments) 2400dpi no dust removal or ICE 1908
1908-19

( comments) Dad and I drove around Alexandria July 5, 2010 to photograph places with family history. 703 6th Ave E AC Hanson built this house. It happened to be for sale for $155k. It has 3 BR 2 Baths and was built in 1911. In 10/14 price reduced to $145k. Also in 2010 Hanson reunion photos we have a pic of this house saying it was built in 1908.

1908-42
( comments) On back of this postcard photo "Lawrence Olson house on 8th Ave - Later all crossed out" The crossing out is correct this has similarities to Olson house, but is different. However it looks a lot like AC houses. I don't recognize the people. Put in 1908
1908-43
( comments) On back of this postcard photo "Carlson home in Hudson twnship" My guess is this is a home built by AC. (Because it was in a pile of photos right next to a known AC house) Put in 1908.
