I made it back to Israel after 26 years, and had a far, far better
time than I could have expected. The Israeli people are tough but
very friendly, and they are super driven and excited by the dance.
I taught Lindy and Blues, and then pushed hard for them to actually
start a regular Blues dance so they wouldn't have to just wait for
the Americans to fly out to give them Blues (like most of the
Europeans do), and they clearly agreed, because they started a weekly
Blues dance a few weeks later. I honestly think that Tel Aviv will
become one of the EurAsia's center of Blues Dance over the next
couple of years.
