Back in 1999ish, the SF Doghouse opened its doors. It quickly became
one of the top places in the world to swing dance.
On 2/25/2006, the Doghouse had
it's last
dance at the Knights Of The Red Branch building and moved to ODC Dance
Commons. The Doghouse was never quite the same in the new building, and
eventually on December 15th of 2007, Chad announced that the Doghouse
would have it's last dance on the 29th.
Perhaps in mourning, the old Doghouse building burned down on the 18th.
A few days later, Haley and I dropped by to pay our last respects.
