Album:2006:06-27 Europe:08-04 Night In Amsterdam
|
|
Our flights required a layover in Amsterdam. I'd been through the airport
many a times, but never into the city, so we decided to make a go of it, and
ended up spending a whole night in Amsterdam. We got a hotel outside the city
and then took the train in, and ended up walking around the city from before
midnight till after 6 am. The city didn't quiet down until about 4 or 5, which was pretty
amazing.

Haley notices that the buildings
are (intentionally?) crooked, giving a definite fairy-tale feel. ( comments)
